A sculptor of Jane Poupelet!

One measures share of humanity of Jane Poupelet, an artist sculptor born in the Dordogne in 1874 and disappeared in interval of wars in 1932, while following his advance artistic techniques led him away from “traditional sculpture”, noticed in his time by Rodin, with his implication for charitable works which leads it to create toys out of wooden or metal before being invested in the modeling of masks for mutilated face, under the aegis of the American Red Cross.
The emotion emanates from a sculpture that the artist was very close to the human passion that it feels in him those deaf people’s vibrations that oscillate between pure happiness to the infinite suffering.
Jane Poupelet is an artist who was forgotten in his time and rediscovered today, in particular thanks to the museum of Roubaix which presented a splendid exposure of his artistic creativity in the form of sculptures in 2005 that one can still discover him.
