4th July:A commemorative postcard

This postcard was sent in 1913; the date appears in the back.
It is marked “printed in Saxony”. This heading of July 4 symbolizes the celebration of national festival of the United States of America.
Many events is celebrated by birthday charts; the national festival of a country, like here the United States, but also for the birth of a man celebrates like Jean-Jacques Rousseau, the Father's Day, the Mother's Day,…
The occasions do not miss… and the chart of birthday is a friendly way of doing a small sign with the other, to point out its friendship, its tenderness, its solidarity, its love for its citizens. The postcard can also commemorate the birthday of a catastrophe, like that of the Mines of Courrières in 1906.
