You know those office chairs whose seat is mounted on a central screw system that allows raising or lowering the seat height. They are called "American chairs.
Today, everyone has become bureaucratic and what model of swivel chair on a central axis, it creates many models of "executive chair" today mounted on pneumatic cylinders and feet on casters.

But it is true that these chairs former U.S. retain a peculiar charm, and they remind us of this great era of the early twentieth century when the industrialization of our Western countries has changed our habits and behaviors, they can be classified as “business furniture”.
Under the seat a mechanism is built around a central screw.
Others have been created for specific uses: chairs by painters, musicians, hairdresser and dentist etc...
They are manufactured in smaller numbers, they are rarer.
All large factories have created their designs and quality of their manufacturing because they represent the honor and heritage through the decades.
