Evaluating heirlooms

How often have we thrown out something that has been in our family for a very long time? Things that we believed were garbage and of no value whatsoever. Family heirlooms are often discarded without its owners having any idea of its value.

Often, these artifacts are remarkably valuable, not just in a monetary sense but because of the associated history. These articles sometimes might have antique value. Family heirlooms have been valued at huge amounts, running into millions. They can be anything from large items like paintings, to little trinkets. Valuating these articles, however, can be a tricky business and should be handled by trusted and experienced people.
