Antiques are being sold in the Black Markets

The illegal buying as well as selling of antique goods is a major headache for almost all the countries of the world. Valuable goods are being illegally smuggled to different countries and these goods make their way into the hands of the collectors, most of who use money generated from illegal sources to buy these antique pieces. There was news surfacing recently that a sword belonging to an Indian king Tipu Sultan had made its way into England and was being sold in the black market for as many as $ 4 million. Different governments have met to crackdown on the illegal sale of historical artifacts but a solution is yet to be found.
